- The Forest Park Residents' Association (FPHA) was formed on June 29, 1972. It was then called the "Forest Park East Homeowners' Association".
- The FPRA constitution was adopted in October 1976 and was later revised in May 2003. The purpose of the FPRA is as follows:
- The Association shall provide a forum in which the matters concerning the area can be discussed within the bounds of democratic procedure.
- The Association shall make decisions and act on matters of importance to the Community.
